Japanese video game publisher Bandai Namco Games and developer Invictus have released a brand new update for Ridge Racer Slipstream, which puts a fresh coat of paint on the mobile-exclusive arcade-style racing game.

The free update introduces a slew of exciting features including four Master Class 01 vehicles: Kamata Synci, Kamata RC410, Lucky Wild Evolver and the Soldat Rauna. 54 all-new Master Class career mode challenges and two new race courses, Surfside Resort and Seacrest District, are also included in the update.

Ridge Racer Slipstream’s latest version also adds much-needed support for MFi controllers. Popularized in arcades, racing games are designed to be played with responsive, hardware controls, and now Gamevice owners can enjoy Ridge Racer Slipstream with the benefit of real controls.

Originally launched last December, Ridge Racer Slipstream was met with positive reviews from critics, receiving a 9 out of 10 score from Pocket Gamer and 4.5 out of 5 stars from Gamezebo.
